FAQ

QWhat kind of acceleration program is this?
A

This is a short-term, execution-driven accelerator designed specifically for medical researchers, healthcare operators, and startups aiming to bring innovative solutions to market. The program provides structured mentoring, support for PoC and early validation, fundraising guidance, opportunities for business collaboration with partner organizations, and concludes with a live Demo Day. It is uniquely structured to help teams achieve measurable progress within a condensed timeframe.

QWho is eligible to apply?
A

Teams that are already incorporated or plan to incorporate are eligible. While there are no sector restrictions, we particularly welcome teams addressing significant societal or healthcare challenges, those preparing to advance into validation or commercialization stages, and those demonstrating strong capabilities in technology, team composition, and growth ambition.

QHow are applications evaluated?
A

Applications undergo a document-based review, during which we conduct a holistic assessment of several factors. These include the clarity of the problem statement and market potential, the uniqueness and technical soundness of the proposed solution, the feasibility of the development roadmap, the team’s execution capability, and the potential for PoC or business collaboration within the program. This evaluation helps ensure alignment between the program’s offerings and each team’s readiness for acceleration.

QIs there any cost associated with participation?
A

No. Both application and participation are completely free of charge. In addition to this cost-free structure, applicants can benefit from resources and support provided throughout the program.

QIs investment available through the program?
A

Yes. For companies seeking investment, we offer opportunities for consideration during or after the program. Investment amounts and terms are determined individually based on the company’s stage, progress, and overall potential. These discussions are conducted separately to ensure transparency and alignment.

QWhat kind of mentoring is provided?
A

Participants receive hands-on support from experienced entrepreneurs, investors, product and PM specialists, and back-office professionals. Mentoring covers a wide range of areas, including business model validation, product strategy and UI/UX, and fundraising strategy. The program can be tailored to each team’s needs to ensure relevance and practical impact.

QAre there mandatory commitments during the program?
A

Aside from participating in mentoring sessions—which are customized as needed—there are no major obligations. However, a higher level of engagement generally correlates with more meaningful results. The program is designed to provide flexibility while ensuring that teams can fully leverage the resources available.

QCan the program be completed remotely?
A

Yes. Most sessions are offered online, making remote participation possible for the majority of the program. The final Demo Day, however, will be held onsite to facilitate engagement with investors, industry partners, and the broader community.

QCan teams apply even if they are part of another accelerator or supported by a VC?
A

Yes. Teams already receiving support from other accelerators or venture capital firms are welcome to apply. If any conflicts of interest or contractual limitations exist, we ask that applicants consult with us in advance so that we can address them appropriately.

QWhat happens at Demo Day?
A

During Demo Day, a representative from each team presents their business, progress, and strategic roadmap on stage before an audience that includes investors, corporate partners, and members of the media. This event provides an opportunity to showcase achievements, attract new partners, and accelerate the next stage of growth.
